A digital multimedia collection of activist reports, creative writing, critical essays, film, interviews, music, and visual and performance art reflecting the complexities of homophobias in the Caribbean, while also expanding understanding of Caribbean sexual minority experiences and activism in the region and its diaspora.
The collection was commissioned by the Caribbean IRN and edited by Rosamond S. King, Angelique V. Nixon, Colin Robinson, Natalie Bennett, and Vidyaratha Kissoon. The collection is available online at www.caribbeanhomophobias.org. Caribbean IRN launched the collection in June 2012.
LES is an online digital journal which aims to promote studies and scientific research as well as intervention projects and opinion pieces related to different aspects of lesbian issues.
In addition to the editorial team, the magazine includes a Consultative Committee to ensure the quality of submitted articles review.
This journal will be published once a year – publication in June.
Collection of Latin American LGBT Stories
The IRN project Does your mother know? IRN Latin American Collection of LGBT Stories documents the stories of Latin Americans that identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer from the Latin American continent and in Diaspora communities. The essays portrayed in this section were chosen by the IRN Latin American board members Jasmin Blessing, Eben Diaz, Violetta Barrientos Silva and Rita Pereira.
Trikster is the a Nordic-based web-magazine with a queer perspective on culture and politics. Trikster mixes genres and forms, and presents a variety of academic, activist, artistic, and political voices with a queer perspective. Trikster covers contributions in different formats, media and languages: English, Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish.
Essays written by scholars and activists whose work is focused on Africa.
