Latin America
IRN Latin America is a global forum made of researchers and activities from a wide range of academics and activists from the region and Diaspora countries.
The Latin American region of the IRN promotes international communication and exchange through scholarship to expand knowledge and understanding related to LGBTQI issues and the availability of academic resources in the region.
One of the key objectives of the IRN is to enhance access to material, people and debates that deal with LGBTQI issues to disseminate global analysis and regional and national processes of research and activism.
IRN Latin America also fosters collaborative projects among researchers and academics and actively participates in regional conferences and dialogues related to diverse sexualities.

The network provides a space for discussion for strategies for the strengthening of LGBT rights in the region.

The Caribbean
The Caribbean Region of the International Resource Network (IRN) is a resource for people and organizations inside and outside the region whose work focuses on issues related to diverse genders and sexualities in the Caribbean. We provide a forum for people interested in approaching sexual rights and human rights from the perspective of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer studies or in surveying the research and activism on particular lesbian, gay, bisexual, all-sexual, and transgender issues.
